Description

Behr has been through a lot lately. He was recently separated from the only home hed ever known, and hes still finding his footing. He may be a bit heartbroken. His foster moms have been working hard with him and he's making real progress but he needs someone who's ready to continue that journey with patience, consistency, and firm, loving structure. He comes with some things to work through: resource guarding and sensitivity around correction. He's not the right fit for first-time dog parents, homes with kids, or most multi-dog households. But for the right experienced handler? He is an absolute gem. We want to be upfront so there are no surprises and he can have a happily ever after! At home, Behr loves cuddling with his blankets, zooming around the yard, and playing with his toys. He is house trained, crate trained, and like the true heeler he is a bit stubborn and opinionated in the best way. Give him structure, clear rules, and consistent reinforcement, and he will thrive.
